PSOE: We must modify the general plan of urban planning to avoid problems like the one of the farms (03/05/2018)

From the Socialist Party of Cieza is working on the implementation of a productive model in our municipality to take our employment out of time.

This means that employment is not limited to agriculture, putting this value, since it is one of the main livelihoods of Cieza.

Pig farms do not contribute to the deseasonalization of employment, in fact, thanks to the technological advances that we have, we hardly need a person to manage the operation of them.

The farms suppose, then, a destabilization of the natural conditions and the surroundings of where they are installed.

They produce large quantities of CO2 in the atmosphere, at the same time, with the strong smell that comes from the concentration of pigs in the same place, makes life in the surroundings difficult.

The solution is relatively simple, the Urban Planning Plan that we have is obsolete and we have to modify it to accompany the new objectives that our municipality is developing.

We have to respect our sites for various reasons, among which we highlight the stabilization of ecosystems, respect for the environment, ensure a pleasant living conditions for those neighbors who decide to live there ... But also because it can be a window to tourism and the promotion of our municipality to make it better.

From the Socialist Party support all business initiatives, in fact, they are taking various actions from the Government for the facilitation of procedures and installation of new initiatives in our municipality.

But respect for the environment, as well as our field and agriculture, is fundamental.
