PSOE: The Government down 10% of the bill of the light to the ciezanas families (26/09/2018)

The Minister for the Ecological Transition, Teresa Ribera, announced last Wednesday the abolition of the generation tax established by the Popular Party.

This will suppose the reduction, of 7% -10% of the bills of the light of all the ciezanas families.

The generation tax that the Government is now going to annul is applied to the electricity companies, but this is passed on to the final consumer.

The tax, imposed by the PP, affects only the end of consumption.

Therefore, the reduction directly affects the consumer.

In addition to suspending the Generation Tax, Ribera announced that the Government will provide the conditions for vulnerable consumers to access the social bonus, supplemented by a new heating bond.

"It is not conceivable that a good of first necessity mortgages the families of our country," said the Minister.

From the socialist group of Cieza are happy for the reduction of electricity bills of the ciezanas families.

"Although the electricity bill has not reached the historical maximum, this tax that created the Popular Party seriously harms Spanish families and the ciezanzas. But, above all, it harms people who are in a situation of economic vulnerability" affirm the socialists.

Begins the concern for primary needs, the reduction of VAT on feminine hygiene products, the reduction of cultural VAT or the elimination of cuts in education, we must work so that citizens have a reduction in the energies they use in your day to day.

If a person does not have the option to choose to live with or without energy, we can not be punishing citizens with exorbitant prices that prevent them from having a decent standard of living.
