Socialists demand the Minister of Education to invest more in public school (07/11/2018)

The local group of the Socialist Party demands the improvements proposed by the Minister of Education for the Cieza classrooms.

"We have to stop being the autonomous communities with the worst education in Spain.

After the cuts that were established with the Popular Party in the government we have to return education to the place it deserves, "say the Socialists.

The Government of the Autonomous Community of the Popular Party is accustomed us to reject everything that comes from the central Government.

After more than 8 years of national governments of the PP, nothing has been claimed and now that they are implementing measures that directly affect the welfare of the citizen are opposed to everything, say the socialist sources.

The proposals of the Central Government to revert Royal Decree 14/2012, through which the maximum ratio, number of children per classroom, was reduced;

the number of teaching hours of teachers was increased;

as well as eliminate the 10 days of waiting to replace the low teachers.

The proposals directly affect the quality of education that young people receive and must be changed.

In the last PISA reports, they place the Region of Murcia, in the best of cases, the fifths by the tail.

Meanwhile, the Regional Government strengthens the investment to the private and concerted education while it suppresses lines of public school and reduces the investment that corresponds to them.

Education is the last of the priorities of the Regional Government, emphasize the Socialists.

The Socialists affirm that education can not be subject to the will of the politicians of every moment.

"Betting on education is betting on the talent and knowledge of the generations that will lead us tomorrow ... How can the education of children who attend Cieza schools be improved?

Establishing it as a priority, that is, investing in it "the socialists end.
