Next Thursday, July 11, at 10 pm, Jaime Lafuente and Jesús Ronda, two veterans of folk music and the song of the author, will offer a concert at the Club Atalaya-Ateneo de la Villa.
A concert in which some of the funniest pieces of the repertoire of traditional songs related to picaresque and love are reviewed.
In his music various popular melodies are mixed, from the traditional picaresque to songs full of tenderness, along with others of festive atmosphere.
The singer-songwriter also plans to take a tour of the theme of love in the singer-songwriters of the transition.
A concert with a lot of humor, typical of the theme, focused on the double play of words and letting the imagination of the spectator fly freely.
All wrapped up in a current, fresh and dynamic musical language.
The collaboration will be 10 euros.
Jaime Lafuente
A lifetime as an interpreter of author song and traditional music.
In 1981 he founded the traditional music group for children La Carraca and in 1993 Tradere, a folk music group.
In 2009 he created the popular jazz-song group Caracol Andador, of which he is still a component today.
Since 2015, it continues to be linked to children with Animated Songs.
With these formations has traveled almost all the provinces of the Spanish geography, as well as scenarios of France, Italy, Portugal, Hungary, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Cuba and Costa Rica.
Jesus Ronda
Excellent musician who dominates with ease various string and percussion instruments.
Regular accompanist of some of the best performers of folk music from Castilla y León and loaded with a wide range of experiences in his long career on stage.
His musical tastes lead him to show a wide range of interpretations, from those of a more traditional style, to those of the highest avant-garde.
