The Department of Environment held a few days ago the first constitution meeting of the Local Environment Council as established by the rules of operation of this body.
At the meeting, which was held in the Blue Hall of the City of Cieza, were called the various political parties with representation in the Plenary and associations and groups with environmental ties in their statutes.
The meeting addressed the renewal of the representatives of the different associations and groups that will be part of the Council for this legislature, informing in addition to projects and actions that are being promoted from the department of the branch or in which the City of Cieza is collaborating and that they have an environmental character, such as the implementation of the Strategic Plan for Urban Ecology and Biodiversity through the Edusi strategy, co-financed by FEDER, the imminent execution of the Chicharra greenway and the project of participatory budgets for reforestation and auxiliary works of the Watchtower.
