Woman shows her outrage at those she considers "macho comments" on the Vox spokesperson on Facebook (30/04/2020)

The Department of Women of the City of Cieza expresses in a statement its "most vigorous rejection and outrage at the words published by Juan Piñera on the social network Facebook.

These words become more relevant as this 'gentleman' is the spokesperson for the municipal group of Vox at the Cieza Town Hall ".The municipal note explains that, "in this publication, the aforementioned councilor makes a distinction between brave women who are worthwhile and, on the other hand, women who are dedicated to 'teaching the hairs of the armpit'.

Applaud the former and the latter invites them to 'empower themselves in the countryside'.

And all this about a photo montage that shows, on the one hand, a group of protesters from March 8 and, on the other, a military woman, some women religious making masks and a woman stuffed into a sanitary personal protective equipment.

On the photo, the words: 'when a real problem appears, it is discovered who were the strong and brave women' ".The writing of Woman adds that "these words, from our point of view, show the hatred and rejection that this gentleman has before the people who fight for real and effective equality between women and men, using the most rancid and disgusting stereotypes that a person may have in this regard.

""This man is recruiting army women, religious women, and sanitarians for his cause, excluding army feminists, religious orders, or medical personnel," the statement said."Has this man looked at who is under that uniform, that habit or that EPIC? Because, if he does, he may be surprised; because, with certainty, under those clothes, he will meet many women who demonstrate every 8 March to demand that those who care for our elderly men and women in our homes and residences have a living wage; to demand that women who work in the field have the same salary as men; that women scientists and health professionals can access an adequate reconciliation of family and work life, so that our daughters can move around our cities without fear of being sexually assaulted and claiming for all the circumstances that prevent equal opportunities between women and men from being real and effective in all areas social, family and work.

""Enough is enough! There are attitudes and behaviors that cannot be tolerated, as they undermine the dignity and rights of people and this publication is one of them," they censured from the council."Mr.

Piñera, not everything goes.

The Department of Women awaits and wishes your rectification," concludes the press release.
