City Council, Community, AFEMCE and Cáritas, coordinate to care for people with mental illness in times of pandemic (04/11/2020)

People with serious mental disorders and drug addicts are cared for by various professional bodies in Cieza to provide families with the necessary resources.People with serious mental disorder and / or drug dependence in the locality are being treated in a comprehensive manner thanks to the coordination of professionals from the areas of Mental Health, Social Services, IMAS, Education, AFEMCE and Cáritas.Last Friday, October 30, a meeting was held by videoconference with said professionals, for the application of the Socio-Health Coordination Protocol that allows addressing family, psychological and social inclusion needs in order to establish intervention strategies in those cases that require special attention and provide families with all the necessary resources to improve the quality of life.This interdisciplinary work model favors comprehensive care of the case, and allows continuous supervision and evaluation from the different areas that intervene with the family.Social Policy is committed to networking, "since it allows continuity of care and mutual learning between the professionals and services involved".
