The Mayor of Cieza, Pascual Lucas, received on Tuesday the leaders of the School-Age Sports Program of the local educational centers, at a working meeting sponsored by the Department of Education, with which is developing the section of Network centers of the project 'Cieza City Educadora'.
This contact made it possible for attendees to present proposals for improvement, to discuss schedules and to carry out annual planning of school games, which the holder of this municipal area Manuela Fernández noted.
"The working meeting with the alderman and the technicians of the Department of Sports has allowed to take certain agreements," he explained.
Among the proposals made by the government team, according to Fernández, there is a day to reflect and study the possibilities of inclusive school sports for children with disabilities who are attending school in specific centers.
It is about sport for all, without distinction of condition or abilities.
The meeting yesterday also served for the Sports Department to announce the donation of sports equipment, for the first time, to the educational centers of the town during the closing ceremony of the aforementioned educational program.
The amount of material to be delivered will be made according to the number of students enrolled and phases of participation.
On the other hand, the councilman promised to transfer to the Directorate General of Sports the request made by schools that prefer that insurance "be ready in the first days of the first trimester, from October to December. , Competitions can be extended throughout the three quarters of the course. "
