The Ministry of Development and Infrastructure manages an "extraordinary" aid to serve the family of Cieza at risk of eviction from their home for non-payment of rent.
This is the first and most "immediate" solution offered by the regional administration, which is part of the agreement it currently has with Cáritas.
This was announced today by the General Director of Housing, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, to this family with whom he has held a meeting to inform them of the resources available to the Autonomous Community to solve the situation through the Guidance Service and Mortgage and Housing Mediation of the Region of Murcia.
José Antonio Fernández Lladó explained after the meeting held today at the headquarters of Cáritas in Cieza, that it has been determined that it is this non-profit institution that accompanies the family in the process of managing extraordinary assistance for the payment of rent, as well as the processing of the subsidy of the Housing Plan 2018-2021 or the request for a social housing of the Autonomous Community.
"We have exposed solutions in the short, medium and long term," said the director who indicated that the accompaniment of Cáritas will count on the collaboration of both the Autonomous Community and the municipal social services.
The regional manager recalled that the Community has the Service of Orientation and Mortgage Mediation and Housing of the Region of Murcia for 4 years.
"It is a free service that guides, mediates, advises and accompanies people who have a conflict with their home to find an extrajudicial solution to it," he explained, noting that next Wednesday the training sessions for municipal technicians start so that "when a case like Cieza arrives, they can offer regional services to solve it".
