Within the European program Erasmus +, and co-funded by the European Union, this group of 16 students and 3 teachers of the Center, will travel from March 29 to April 6 in France and Belgium.
The "Chanson et Inclusión" project has been developed during the last two school years with students from the Pedro Rodríguez Educational Center, and it has worked Inclusion through Choral Singing.
Based on songs by the Belgian-Spanish singer Raphy Rafael, the students have been working during these months to prepare a repertoire of songs in French, English, Turkish and Spanish.
These songs were exposed to the citizens of Cieza in the development of the III Gala of Cieza Educating City, with the central theme of Inclusion.
The group will travel to Paris where the students will enjoy a weekend in the Gallic city and practice French as a means of communication, the official language of the project.
Then he will travel to Bruxelas, where he will meet 15 other students from Turkey, 15 from the United Kingdom, and another group of Belgian students.
There will be a total of 3 concerts in different enclaves of the Belgian country, with a choir formed by the students of the four participating countries under the baton of Marie Paule Letawe and the guitar and melody of Raphy Rafael.
The CEIP Pedro Rodríguez has as one of its hallmarks to offer an inclusive education, where the right to difference is enhanced, with no difference in rights.
For this reason, their educational community strives to participate in projects such as the present, where students can have unforgettable experiences and the economic issue is not an impediment to this.
