The circle of seniors of Podemos Región de Murcia has organized for tomorrow, Thursday 10 October, a focused round table that under the title "Pensions and Women" will analyze the problem of retirees, who are the ones who mainly receive the lowest pensions and They are at a higher risk of exclusion.
The event will take place at the "Padre Salmerón" Municipal Library in Cieza, starting at 7.30pm.
In the talk, which will be moderated by José Eduardo Illueca Ballester, the Secretary of Social Rights and Civil Society and spokesman in the Regional Assembly of Podemos Región de Murcia, María Marín, along with Miguel Campillo, pensioner member of the Circle of Seniors and the expert lawyer in the field Pedro Martínez Díaz.
The objective of the act, as María Marín has assured, is "to make visible all those women who, after a life of silenced work, today have the lowest pensions and are faced with an economic situation close to exclusion."
The round table on pensions and women is framed at a time of maximum mobilization of the pensioners movement, with a demonstration called for next October 16 in Madrid attended by retirees and retirees from across the country.
