Music Day sounds loud and loud (24/11/2019)

Listening generously you enjoy and widen the taste, and doing it live helps the musicians.

a total of seven appointments, all free, to savor classic and contemporary rhythms.

It was organized yesterday by the Department of Education within Music Day.

Irresistible proposals that had as a framework the interior and exterior spaces of the House of Arts and Music.

The House of Arts and Music, headquarters of the Maestro Gómez Villa Conservatory and the Municipal School of Music, this Thursday became the epicenter of Music Day, the main event held in Cieza and which proposed a series of concerts in different spaces of these municipal facilities of Cadenas street.

There the expectations of the people were great next to the entrance, mostly family and friends of the members of the conservatory band that, under the direction of the teacher Francisco García Alcázar, had turned the sidewalk into their stage during the opening.

All in order to receive the public in an authentic day of open doors.

The objective of this initiative promoted by the Department of Education is to praise the work done by both academic institutions in the town, while showing the rest of the citizens the musical talent of students.

For this occasion, the municipal area directed by María Ramos wanted to take a tour of the building that houses the conservatory and the school from the ground floor to the concert auditorium, so that all attendees visit the different rooms of the same.

The idea is to continue growing in future editions and leave the building to fill the streets of the old town with music and turn it into a continuous surprise.

At the time of the inaugural concert the street was full to the flag and it was almost impossible to get a hole to see the performance of the conservatory band.

Once the vibrant interpretation of several well-known movie soundtracks was completed, people literally invaded the ground floor of the municipal building in search of the string quartet composed of violinists Sofía Martínez and Sara Patricia Coronel, violates Lucia Egea and the cellist Inés Erquicia.

The place could not be more evocative for the repertoire chosen along with the pictorial work in cellulose, pigments and latex on the wall of the artist from the city of Juan Antonio Abellán.

Getting lost in the corridors of the House of Arts and Music had its own way of walking through a soundtrack of soundproof rooms, classrooms and auditoriums.

The woodwind quartet chose the entrance of the conservatory to offer a repertoire care: Carmen Fernández (flute), José Javier Ortega (oboe), Juan Antonio Moreno (clarinet) and Mercedes Galindo (bassoon).

Right there, but shortly before a quarter to seven, a wooden wind duo formed by trumpeter Javier Ros and saxophonist Miranda Moreno surprised attendees.

What nobody went unnoticed was the performance of the trio of accordions made up of Laura Piñera, Amaranta Tornero and Javier Fernández.

And between chamber music recitals he played the game, because also at the end of the afternoon he could enjoy the joint performance of the pianists Alba Penalva, Antonio Abellán and Mario García.

And as an end of the party, at the Carmelo Gómez Templado Auditorium, concert of the flute players Marta Camacho and Paula Marín accompanied by Lorena Avellaneda on piano.

Joy and bustle, which alternated with the fellowship between teachers and students.

Music Day in the conservatory was small in size, but for the organization it was a great showcase where to show the work of professionals committed to the needs and musical concerns of students and their families
