The Municipal Center of Social Services of Cieza, reports that they have begun to develop educational activities framed within the Municipal Drug Prevention Program and subsidized by the Ministry of Public Health and Addictions.
These prevention programs have been designed to reduce risk factors and strengthen protection factors among the youngest in the municipality, and therefore more vulnerable, against the future probability of presenting consumption or abuse of legal or illegal substances.
Both the experience and the evaluation of the existing programs reveal the need to carry out actions from the educational centers continued over time, with a methodology adapted to the population with which one works and with rigorously established objectives that go beyond the purely informative.
The projects that are being carried out are the so-called Puzzles, aimed at students of Basic Vocational Training;
Key Game Project, intended for students of 1st Compulsory Secondary Education, and Prevention Project for Addictions, aimed at students of 3rd Compulsory Secondary Education.
This program will be complemented with prevention and training activities aimed at parents and professionals in the field of education, leisure and free time during the months of March and April.
