The place where every artist from Murcia finds his parnassus (24/02/2020)

The Molino de Teodoro Museum offers artists from the city of Cusco the opportunity to expose their work collectively in an environment that is physically and sensorially connected to the natural environment, with the organic environment, as part of the Flowering tourism project program.

For this, the Department of Museums allows the use of the interior spaces of the old flour mill, allowing light to penetrate them and creating a new language based on the interrelation of the different elements of the building.

A feeling of intimacy permeates the interior of the rooms, where the paintings reinforce the visitor's link with the building.

Inside it creates a special atmosphere that metamorphoses throughout the day.

Many spectators are fascinated to observe the color changes that natural light generates when it penetrates through the windows, how it floods these spaces and enhances the tones and colors of the works hanging on its walls.

Until next March 22 a small excursion to visit the flour mill will be inexcusable.

In the Molino de Teodoro Museum, in the heart of the Paseo Ribereńo, collectively exhibit twenty artists from Cezanos under the title 'Flower action': Pascual Lucas Motellón, José Ato, Aurora Montoya Lozano, Vanesa Rojas, Ana Tudela, Felisa Gómez, Juan Antonio Abellán Juliá, María Antonia Sánchez Dato, Marga Lozano, Ángeles Sáez, Antonio Buitrago Puche, Lorena Martínez, Ana Buitrago, Antonia Fernández, Jesús Moreno, Antonio José Villa, Ernesto Gil Marín, Tete Lukas, Carlos Jesús Sánchez and Sergio Ayala Martínez.

All of them have the facilities of this old flour mill that allow them to exhibit a work by artist.

By its nature, this collective exhibition can only convey a brief sensation of the current celestial plastic, umbilically connected with nature.

Perfectly interwoven, the set conveys a bright formal impression.

They have achieved it with a careful placement of the works.

The result is an exhibition of paintings, of different formats and techniques, that respects the museological environment in which it is located.

And it is this balance that gives the proposal its exceptional character.

The rooms destined to the milling and the miller's house bring the visitor closer to the idea that the City Council of Cieza has of the building as a space for art and incentive exhibitions for the approach of visitors, through a cultural proposal with a huge future within the Flowering tourism plan programming.

The property, small but cozy, distills scent of wheat and rye, and an orchard calm only disturbed by the gurgling of the water from the ditch.

As a haven of peace, it is joyful to look out at the midday sun and admire the views of the town from one of its small windows or recreate with the original machinery of the old mill.

Each of the rooms, including the stairwell that give access to the upper floor, is different.

The spaces have been chosen according to their dimensions and luminosity.

All the invited artists have the generosity to lend their works so that the spectators have the opportunity to see them in such a beautiful space and enjoy them.

Over there one can enjoy the continent and the content in all its splendor.

You have to arrive at the museum with the predisposition to be seduced by art and feel the magic of the place.
