The march for International Women's Day culminated the events of March 8 (10/03/2020)

Some 300 people, according to sources from the Department of Women and Equality of the City of Cieza, participated this Sunday afternoon in the demonstration organized by the Ajuntaera Feminista Akelinza who toured the downtown streets of the urban area of ​​the city on the occasion of the 8th day March, International Women's Day.

It was attended by the Councilor for Women, Melba Miñano, and various mayor of the Municipal Corporation, as well as women's associations that form the Municipal Council of Women.

The march began in the Plaza de San Juan Bosco to later cross Juan XXIII Avenue, Camino de Murcia and end at the corner of the Convent, where the demonstration concluded with the reading of a manifesto.

Hundreds of people chanted various slogans during the tour claiming equality between men and women in all areas and censoring machismo.
