The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia, in collaboration with the Cieza Local Police, has arrested a neighbor from the town of Cieza, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of resistance and disobedience to law enforcement officers, after skipping a verification point of citizen mobility established in the municipality, under Royal Decree 463/2020, of March 14, declaring the state of alarm for the management of the health crisis situation caused by COVID-19.

The action was developed within the framework of the police devices established jointly by the Civil Guard and the Local Police of Cieza, to comply with the measures established in Royal Decree 463/2020, of March 14, by which A state of alarm is declared for the management of the health crisis situation caused by COVID-19.

In one of the citizen mobility verification points established in the Plaza de las Cortes Españolas in the urban area of ​​Cieza, the agents gave the 'stop' to the driver of a car that ignored the instructions of the authority and evaded control Police.

Immediately, one of the patrols began to follow up and intercepted the vehicle, at which point its driver got out of the car to flee, having to struggle with one of the officers to get out and continue his flight on foot until, a few meters later, he was arrested.

The Civil Guard inspected the vehicle and the streets through which the suspect had attempted to flee until locating two plastic wrappers containing 25 doses of cocaine and one gram of marijuana.

The police action culminated in the arrest of the young man, 38 years old and a neighbor of Cieza, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of resistance and disobedience to law enforcement officers who, together with the investigative measures, has been placed at the disposal of the Investigating Court of Cieza (Murcia).
