Municipal sources of the Cieza City Council have reported that the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) issued this Thursday the yellow alert for storms in the Region of Murcia, which can mainly affect the Altiplano, Northwest and Vega del Segura, including the Vega Alta with the Comarca of Cieza, from 1:00 p.m.

The yellow level warning for storms indicates that in the areas indicated "rains and insanely strong winds and hail less than 2 centimeters" are expected.

Given the nature of these phenomena, there is the possibility that storms of higher intensity may occur from time to time, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
