Saorín celebrates that children can go outside for an hour each day (27/04/2020)

| The councilor for Health and Public Health of the Cieza City Council explains that the measure seeks to balance the health protection of all with the emotional and physical well-being of our minors | From this Sunday, April 27, one outing per day and for one hour is allowed for children up to 14 years old to walk, play, etc.

This measure combines protection and health control with the rights and physical and emotional well-being of children.In a press release, Francisco Saorín, councilor for Health and Public Health of the City of Cieza, explained that the measure agreed to allow children to go out for an hour a day on the street meets the criteria of the General Directorate for Children and of the Ministry of Health in order to protect against infections and also guarantee the rights and needs of minors.The councilor recalled that children "are setting an example of responsibility and commitment, staying at home, to protect themselves against COVID-19 and to protect and care for everyone.

"Likewise, Saorín has underlined that the measure has been prepared in collaboration with the technical teams of the Ministry of Health and the Vice-Presidency for Social Rights and following the recommendations of the Directorate-General for Children and Adolescents and many organizations defending the rights of the childhood.As for the details of the measure, the mayor of the Czezano consistory has specified that minors under the age of 14 may leave, between 9 in the morning and 9 at night, recommending that they do not leave at peak times to avoid infections.
