The Official Association of Journalists highlights the Floración project (29/09/2020)

| The Interpretation Center of the Cañón de Almadenes hosted the presentation of the works on Cieza made in the Yearbook of the Region of Murcia published by the Official Association of Journalists | The dean of the Association of Journalists of the Region of Murcia, Arturo Andreu Andreu, has presented, together with the mayor of Cieza, Pascual Lucas Díaz, the works carried out on the town that lead the Yearbook of the Region of Murcia 2019.

This publication, edited For almost three decades by the body that brings together journalists in the Region, it has developed the most outstanding issues that occurred during the year, the flowering of Cieza and its cultural and natural commitment occupying the first pages of this edition. The publication, which can now be consulted on the journalists' website, has been created under the direction of Arturo Andreu, who has had the writing of more than twenty journalists and collaborators.

The Yearbook is sent to libraries, universities, companies and various institutions interested in it, as well as to the Associations of journalists throughout Spain. The Yearbook of the Region of Murcia 2019 opens its cover with a beautiful photo of the flowering of the peach trees in Cieza, a spectacle that during the months of February and March, each year, makes the Ciezana valley explode with light and color and attracts thousands of tourists from the Region, Spain, and abroad.

"We have thus wanted to pay tribute to a sector, tourism, which has to be fundamental in the recovery of the regional economy in the years to come, and to a town, Cieza, which has been making an enormous effort for a few years.

, full of imagination and good work, to value its landscape, cultural, archaeological and festive wealth, all grouped under the name: Flowering ", declared the dean of the College of Journalists, Arturo Andreu. "Cieza receives with this great work a recognition from the College of Journalists.

A recognition that is for all citizens: for hoteliers, merchants, tourism companies, museums, artists, for everyone, because with their effort and delivery have allowed the name of Cieza to be carried outside our borders ", explained the mayor, Pascual Lucas, who recalled that" this is only the beginning, since Cieza has a solid, efficient and responsible project that will allow us to continue strengthening and enlarging the local values ??".

The presentation was made at the Almadenes Canyon Interpretation Center, a place nestled in living nature and which is now back on track. At the event, which was attended by different authorities from the town of Cieza, the dean of the College of Journalists was accompanied by the vice-dean, José Manuel Serrano Climen; the secretary, Julia Uriol Gimeno; the treasurer and head of Corporate Social Responsibility, Marta Isabel García Rivas and the Honorary President of the institution, Juan Antonio De Heras y Tudela.
