Pascual Lucas meets with the Cieza Business and Industrial Association (07/10/2020)

| Cieza councilor informs them that, for the first time, industrial estates have been included in the Street Cleaning Management Plan | The meeting held between the mayor of Cieza, Pascual Lucas; the Councilor for Economic Development, Antonio Moya, and representatives of the Cieza Business and Industrial Association have reviewed many of the actions that the City Council is implementing and that positively affect the city's business fabric.Among the issues that have been dealt with in said meeting, one of the most important has been the First Street Cleaning Management Plan, approved in full last August.

The representative of the town explained that, "for the first time, the cleaning of the industrial estates, Búho, Ascoy and Los Prados is included in street cleaning, and we will continue to support and reinforce both cleaning and maintenance tasks through the county councils, social employment and the orders entrusted to PROECISA ".In addition, Lucas and Moya have presented with this the 3rd order entrusted to PROECISA for the annual maintenance tasks of the industrial estates.

Due to the situation caused by the health crisis and the confinement during the state of alarm, this process has been delayed and the City Council assures that "there is a lot of work to be done due to the years of abandonment to which these industrial areas have been subjected, but that we will be solving, also through these orders, so that the image of our industrial estates and, consequently, that of our business sector is excellent ", said the mayor in charge.Another management in which the Consistory has been working for some time is the installation of surveillance cameras in numerous points of the municipality to complement the security of the city, pending the approval of the application for said installation by the Government Delegation.

In these points, industrial estates have also been included.Other information that the mayor communicated was the public offer for the sale of plots owned by PROECISA, which has been open since May 6 and there have already been contacts regarding the interest of different companies.IBI bonusThe City Council will also discount the IBI up to 95% to companies that carry out economic activities declared of special and social interest.

To this bonus we must add the one already established with the Tax on Construction and Works (ICIO).Pascual Lucas offered them to collaborate and be part of the employment infrastructures that the City Council will launch in the coming months, Coworking, Cijoe and Cicola, with the aim of training entrepreneurs and new entrepreneurs.Finally, both businessmen and municipal representatives showed unity in defending the infrastructure needs for the economic development of the municipality, as well as the protection of water resources.
