| The local group of Somos Región in Cieza denounces in the City Council, the negligence on the part of the latter when it comes to serving the travel agencies of the municipality | For more than six months we have lived through very difficult times for all sectors, in which there are neighbors who suffer to be able to bring a plate of food to their tables, suffer from being able to pay rent, electricity, water for their businesses. From the local group of SOMOS REGIÓN in Cieza, we have been observing how a sector so important for the local economy and tourism in the municipality is being totally neglected, such as travel agencies, it seems that the government local is more focused on campaigning more than two years after the elections, than on meeting the needs of its neighbors. In our municipality there are more than half a dozen establishments of this type, behind which there are many families who live directly or indirectly from this sector.

The tourism sector is one of the hardest hit, if not the hardest hit, bearing all the burdens that this crisis is making them pay on their shoulders. For all this, from SOMOS CIEZA, the local group of SOMOS REGIÓN in our municipality, we demand that the city council help these people, these workers and freelancers who are not second-class citizens once and for all.

We request direct aid to the sector, a sector that represents a part of our city, and they deserve no less.
