VOX Cieza supports the Cieza Industrial Business Association (21/11/2020)

VOX Cieza, represented by its coordinator Antonio Sandoval and vice-coordinator Carmelo Ramos, meet with the board of directors of the Cieza Association of Industrial Entrepreneurs to inquire about the current situation they are going through and their opening words leave us somewhat perplexed: "abandonment social in all areas of its activities ".We focus our conversation on the situation of the industrial estates and especially on the problem of the "Los Prados" estate.Among their demands, we highlight their general dissatisfaction with the situation in which the garbage collections are found that, since they are not daily, the containers become dumps and this taking into account that it is the companies in the polygons that bear the highest receipts in the municipality.

They lack sufficient containers and do not exist for the collection of plastics and paper so necessary for their tasks. As we delve into our interview, we discover the huge amount of deficiencies that their representatives have been claiming from our town hall.

It is curious that they lack fire hydrants and that the reading of the water meters is not carried out in monthly periods, accumulating periods with the consequent rise in consumption sections and the disproportionate increase in rates. The terrible development of the "Los Prados" industrial estate does not allow a direct connection to the Ascoy estate.

Trailers do not have access as the road is not wide enough due to the existing median and prevents this type of vehicle from having the ability to turn, not even in the round ones. The non-objective attitude of the city council in terms of prices per square meter is another concern for these industrialists since different prices are charged according to which companies and the absolute lack of transparency in the offers of land to compete under equal conditions that sometimes, companies interested in acquiring it to expand their facilities cannot attend when they are advertised in places with difficult access.

Absolutely out-of-market prices and existing structural problems are not attractive enough and discourage the opening of new activities. We have left another big problem for the end, as it is that the city council does not attend to businessmen in person and they are obliged to resort to the electronic registry that is very rarely operational, when not damaged or "down"; in short, an ordeal that the council fails to optimize. These are some of the innumerable demands with which they have been struggling for years and today there are no immediate solutions.FROM VOX CIEZA, WE CONTINUE SUPPORTING OUR INDUSTRIAL SECTOR IN ITS DEMANDS.
