The City Council of Cieza, through the Department of Employment and Economic Development, in collaboration with the Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF), will coordinate the 100x100 Activation Program.

Cieza will be one of the three municipalities where this initiative will be launched, together with Ceheg and San Pedro del Pinatar. The Councilor for Employment, Antonio Moya, has received the SEF technicians in the facilities equipped to carry out the 100x100 Activation Program.

They are located in the old Municipal Market and have been rehabilitated following the instructions of the SEF to comply with the requirements to implement this program.

They consist of a waiting room, a classroom, an office for the teacher, toilets and a 'cooking' room for breaks. The aforementioned program is intended for unemployed people who receive guidance and motivation to get a job from the hand of a 'coach', through an intensive search for teamwork in order to find employment in a period of one hundred days.

The duration of the program is three months, and it is scheduled to start in mid-February, with 20 participants. It is a novel initiative that gives all the prominence to job seekers, fostering in them a proactive and dynamic, committed and supportive attitude to achieve the shared objective of all: access the labor market or develop their own business idea .

Hence also the location of the facilities where this activity will take place, together with the Center for Young Entrepreneurs Initiatives (CIJOE), which, added to the Coworking space, make up the entrepreneurial ecosystem that the Council of Employment and Economic Development makes available to the unemployed of the municipality to promote their insertion into the world of work.
