After several months of gathering information, the Department of Participation makes available to all citizens a file with updated information of the associations registered in the municipal registry of Citizen Entities by area. The function of this file, notes Nerea Martinez, "no Is another one that facilitates and promotes the important associative fabric that our municipality enjoys. Through this file, we fulfill a demand that we have been witnessing throughout this year, since there are numerous citizens who, individually or Members of groups have approached the Department of Participation, to be provided contact details of associations in a particular area.
The file will be available on the Participacion Ciudadana web participacion.cieza.es.
This file, clarifies the Participation directory, "will be in constant updating, allowing to publicize not only the number of collectives in our municipality, but contact data that have been provided and whose publication has been authorized by the entities themselves thus complying To the Data Protection Law, and what is perhaps more important, we hope to be able to disseminate and help to make the work of our associations known a little more, by having detailed information on the objectives and activities developed by them.
The Councilwoman ends by stating that "it is a live file", not complete, as not all associations have contributed the facilitated file.
That is why it encourages to join the rest of associations that have not yet delivered the file, so that everyone can meet and contact with the nourished associative fabric of our municipality.
