PSOE Cieza: While PP and C's vote against raising pensions, the PSOE is still fighting for a PENSIONS worthy (15/03/2018)

Last Wednesday February 14 we saw in the Congress of Deputies as the Popular Party and its government partner Citizens continue to vote together against the citizens of our country.

The two parties blocked the revaluation of pensions with the CPI.

The proposal that the Socialists made was to equalize pensions to the routine expenses of life.

In recent years we have seen the Popular Party raise 1 euro to each pension at the same time they raised the prices of food, electricity, water ... Rajoy spent more money to send the letters announcing the rise of one euro than in what went up to all the pensioners.

The Socialists know the situation that all families have gone through during the crisis.

Maintaining, in many cases, children and grandchildren who had lost their jobs.

Therefore, it is fair that pensions are raised as prices rise.

It is useless to announce increases in letters that are not reflected in our pockets.

We must be aware that the Toledo Pact and Social Security need reforms in order to continue to be maintained, we are so aware that we have proposals on the table.

We need to improve the contributions that are maintained by pensions, adding a tax to banks that complement social security contributions.

Although the right of this country does not understand, the Socialist Party will continue working in all institutions.

It is as logical as that, if banks and highways are rescued, people can not be sunk.

We have the obligation to agree on an intergenerational pact that equals and guarantees a future for the young and a present for the elderly.
