The Directorate General of Land and Housing has rehabilitated a total of thirteen facades in Cieza, with the cooperation of the municipal corporation
The Autonomous Community promotes the rehabilitation of architecturally interesting facades in the town of Cieza, within the activities of maintenance of buildings of historical and cultural values developed by the Ministry of Public Works and Planning.
The Director General of Planning and Housing, Antonio Navarro, said that "only in Cieza have provided more than 300,000 euros to preserve items of general interest in facades of buildings considered of great architectural value."
Navarro added that the rehabilitation activities "provide great benefits to the local landscape uniformity, and have also meant big improvements in other regional towns."
The manager said regional DG Land and Housing has rehabilitated a total of thirteen facades in Cieza, thanks to the collaboration of the municipal corporation, "which has always shown great interest in keeping in the best aesthetic and scenic drive the urban center of town. "
The actions carried out in buildings located in streets like San Sebastian, Buitrago, or in the main square, has involved the strengthening of the architectural elements from the area and measures of structural safety.
