In this regard, he recalled that the Ministry of Agriculture and Water, through IMIDA, and the private sector represented in the New Varieties of Mediterranean society (Novamed) are working on a project on genetic improvement of peach have been awarded three new varieties "are already registered and ready to be transferred to farmers," said Cerda.
