The Socialist Party organized a talk to inform education cuts (16/09/2012)

On September 13, Cieza PSOE met at the Cultural Hall of CajaMurcia representatives of trade unions, parents / mothers and students in a talk to discuss the situation with which we bring to the course start Region.

Before hundreds of attendees, the coordinator of the education sector PSRM, Maria Ramos, was tasked to present the act, and in the intervening; Antonio Francisco Ferrandez (FETE) DiegoFernández (CCOO), José Escamez (STERM) , Paqui Lopez (FAPA) and Maria Rodriguez (FEMAE) who agreed that the key is to stay united and together vindicate rights that had been consolidated and that the PP governments are eliminating.

The three unions represented, (FETE, CCOO and STERM) say they are more united than ever in the stubborn defense of public education, and noted the difficulties they will encounter the Centers during the school year, such as covering resources substitutions own during the first 10 days, to survive with a debt of 40% of the 2011 budget and only 35% in 2012, lower template that is worse in secondary, the situation of the 176 secondary teachers target expectation and reduced budget as grants both dining aid of books, situations that inevitably will result in the quality of education.
