Thousands clothed yesterday the Holy Christ of Consolation in the beginning of their journey through the various churches of the city on the occasion of his Jubilee Year and its 400 years of existence.
In an event that had never occurred, the venerated image was taken yesterday in procession from the chapel to the Church of San Joaquin, where he awaited the new size of Mary, Queen and Mother of Mercy, Youth Collective ownership of Cultural Youth Cofrades Cieza for a historic meeting Processional.
The image of Our Lady of Mercy was also blessed yesterday at Solemn Eucharist and was carved by sculptors Jesus Molina and Juan Abellán Dimas.
This new image will processional next Saturday, November 10th at 20:00 pm from the Parish of San Joaquin de Cieza coinciding with the month of All Souls.
The Santo Cristo del Consuelo remain in the church of San Joaquin until 17 November, when, again in procession, will be transferred to the parish of St. John Bosco to continue his pilgrimage.
Moving processional and the Blessing of Holy Mary, Queen and Mother of Mercy was enriched musically by Bugle and Drum Band "Christ of the Expiration" and "Sones de Pasion" Cieza, the Ave Maria was played by local artist Antonio Jose Rojas Muñoz.
