UPyD Cieza proposes implementing a plan for the conservation of the deer in the natural environment of Cieza (13/12/2012)

After the last plenary session in the city of Cieza, from UPyD want to show our disagreement regarding how the matter has been dealt with the deer by the government team, tax issue in its execution from the Regional Administration.

From our point of view, the argument of the councilor in the city is very vague, as crops are destroyed, and once again demonstrates the neglect and unwillingness to work's Party in a matter that could be very beneficial to Cieza and rural tourism.

In this case, it is desirable that the Councillor for Sustainable Development, Environment and Forestry report on how many complaints have been raised "affected farmers" to the City Council.

From UPyD believe, which should first do some research to see what the actual population of deer that currently exist in Cieza.

After this study, see, what would be the ideal population to live in our beautiful natural environment composed of various saws (Del Oro, Almorchón, Head, and places like Almadenes Cagitán and Canyon).

Because it would be another attraction for those places, adorned with nature's own resources, in this case such as the return of some deer mounts that no stranger, and who lived in the first half of the twentieth century.

UPyD considers the right path and therefore to follow, is initiated by the City of Cehegín, ruled by a government of the Popular Party, where his councilor Montes (exerting a recreational activity such as hunting), raised to the Administration Regional plan to keep the deer in the mountains of Cehegín, that plan was rejected by the Administration.

The council saw the benefits it can have on the local economy and for rural tourism or ecotourism.

And Cehegín agriculture has not been a problem that the deer have returned to the municipality, as the City Council is not aware of a complaint filed by farmers where their crops have been affected by the action of the deer.

So invite groups such as GSM El Portazgo, OJE Cieza, Scouts San Jorge and the whole town of Cieza, to demonstrate for the deer remain as they are groups that perform many of their outdoor activities .

And the team of Local Government urge you not to fold again to the whims of the Regional Administration, and get to work to find a solution beneficial to the environment and its municipality, and not just for a particular collective.
