The best triathletes make previous XTerra UCAM (30/05/2013)

Ben Allen and Jacqui Slack (XTerra World Tour leaders) and Roger Serrano, Spain Triathlon champion awards Cross, told their experiences to students in CAFD

The XTerra World Tour, one of the most demanding circuits in the world sports, arrives for the first time to Spain.

Cieza will host next June 2nd a global reach test which will be some of the best specialists in the world.

Leveraging its presence in the Region, the Faculty of CAFD UCAM Murcia Catholic University has organized a talk with the leaders of the competition: the Australian British Ben Allen and Jacqui Slack.

Also participating Eward Smut, director of Xterra Spain, and Roger Serrano, Spain Triathlon Champion Cross.

Jacqui Slack acknowledged he was delighted to participate for the first time in a Spanish soil test: "We love being in Spain. Believe that Cieza area is a beautiful area for this competition and hopefully get the win."

The Aussie Ben Allen matched his partner and added that "competition this weekend will be very tough as they come some of the best triathletes in the world."

The Spanish, Roger Serrano was happy to participate in this event because "it is a great opportunity for me because I can compete with the best"

The organizer of the event, Edward Smut, spoke of the importance of bringing a World Tour event to Spain: "It's a great opportunity for Spanish athletes who otherwise could not participate in a global event like this. Moreover, it offers the possibility of develop sports tourism in the area. "

Of the five areas studied by Smut take this test to Spain said that "Cieza is most suitable for this event."
