UPyD proposes measures for job creation versus "lack of initiative PP'' (11/09/2013)

Cieza magenta training requires the Councillor for Employment, Giménez Antonia Maria Bello, strong and effective measures to mitigate the rise in unemployment after the summer months

According to data provided by the Employment and Training Service (SEF) of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, unemployment in Cieza has experienced a further rise to 456 people, from the 3,290 unemployed from July to August 3746.

In relative terms, the increase in unemployment in August has been 14 percent compared to July.

At the regional level unemployment also experienced an increase, reaching 2,692 people from the previous month.

From Union Progress and Democracy in Cieza contemplate the decline in unemployment in recent months thanks to farming and encourages hostelry that summer.

The decline in unemployment is due to a mere seasonal event, no thanks to the local Consistory management, as has been said many times by local authorities, and as foreseen in rising unemployment in August where most jobs created during been destroyed.

That is why we demand that the local Consistory effective measures against unemployment within the competence of the City, more specifically responsible for Employment, which we are more than used to this famous tagline with which to justify their neglect to act against the drama of Unemployment: "the city of Cieza does not have the skills required in employment", as said many times in plenary venue and media.

From UPyD deny most, and against the elusive and incompetent employment promotion policy of the Popular Party, and the neglect of duties mayor manifests itself delegate these issues, we provide a number of measures that promote a business network which creates jobs.

First, and on taxation, encourage the development of a report to examine the possibility of applying different rebates or exemptions on municipal rates and taxes (property tax, building permit tax and opening licenses) to companies and freelancers in different assumptions (commencement of operations, opening new stores, expansion of the activity, etc..) and a reduction in the rate of license fee for opening and occupation of public roads.

Second, carry out actions required to agree to financial institutions providing microcredit between 6,000 and 12,000 euros, with a low interest, and thus provide the necessary liquidity to entrepreneurs.

Third, and to promote entrepreneurship and the creation of knowledge in our area, the Department of Employment of the City of Cieza could organize a competition for entrepreneurs who plan a new business to the city, which would be rewarded by an endowment economic, or other compensation arising from the start of business valued at the same amount, as well as developing the business plan for the launch of the finalists, by municipal technicians.

Fourth, and in terms of basic infrastructure services, the use of city-owned buildings, including the former factory "Knitwear", specifically the site of the old library, or the old street ambulatory Santa Gertrudis ( for example) that are in a state of neglect, as the center of New Companies in Cieza.

Where available to new entrepreneurs, business offices where set to a very low cost and on a temporary basis, used to pay the running costs of the building, which, in addition, the City would save.

As well as promoting industrial buildings in the industrial park "The Meadows" for entrepreneurs with low cost of leasing, by competition, thereby encouraging activity in the industrial inert.

Thus for the local party grouping magenta "is clear from this list of proposals presented from UPyD that there are municipal powers to the promotion of employment, contrary to what the mayor enacts Giménez Bello, less than the problem of lack of policies for this purpose is due to neglect of duties arising from indifference to current problems ciezanas families ".
