Saorín demands the opening of a zero-cost school meals during the summer (10/06/2014)

The coordinator of IU-Greens in Cieza, Francisco Saorín, has called on the local mayor, Antonio Tamayo, opening a school canteen with a zero cost to families whose income does not exceed the minimum wage, so that any local child goes hungry.

Saorín has publicly asked the local government to implement a program to ensure that students in need are fed "always in a context of extracurricular activities or town camps to ensure an absence of stigma."
