The Civil Guard attributed to two children for throwing stones at vehicles on the A-30 (14/01/2015)

The Civil Guard in the region of Murcia has developed a performance in which defendants have been two minors suspected of crime against road safety serious traffic hazard related to throwing stones at vehicles on the road, occurred yesterday in the A-30 passing through Cieza.

The investigation began in the afternoon yesterday (13), when the Civil Guard was alerted to a possible traffic accident which had been involved two vehicles were stopped in the driveway.

The Civil Guard then initiated a device aimed at identifying the perpetrators of these incidents, which was positive, a few minutes later, the location of two people in a next to where the incident occurred area.

Once identified was found that there were two men of Spanish and Moroccan nationality respectively, minors and neighbors Cieza, in units of the Civil Guard and in the presence of their legal guardians, were charged as alleged perpetrators of crimes against road safety serious traffic hazard.

The proceedings initiated and two minor defendants were made available to the Office of Children of Murcia.

The creation of a serious traffic hazard is defined as a crime against road safety in Article 385 of the Penal Code and punishable by imprisonment of six months to two years or a fine of 12-24 months and work benefit of the community of 10-40 days.

The Civil Guard wants attention of citizens to advise the phone 062, when faced with situations of people throwing objects from bridges or other high points next to the road or any other conduct involving a similar risk, providing the greatest data as possible to facilitate location and identification, given the risk to the circulation represents this type of behavior, as the last day July 3, 2013 took place in the RM-12 road at Los Belones -Cartagena where allegedly three children, thrown on the road, from an overpass, one large stone went through the windshield of a car and caused the death of one of its occupants.
