It is recalled that the City Council approved in its regular meeting on August 4 the creation of the Municipal Council of the Environment and its operating rules.
No delays and with the assistance of many representatives of political parties represented in municipal and environmental associations, which emphasized the interest in its implementation, the session also served for members to express their concerns and demands on the environment.
For the Councillor for the Environment, José Eduardo Illueca, "becomes reality an old demand of environmental associations in the municipality. During previous mandates try that full approve the constitution of this body without success. And since we entered this new Corporation municipal, within the government team, it has been a priority for the Department of Environment its implementation ".
Illueca recognizes that from now Cieza leaps in environmental matters.

For now, at its constituent session held in the Blue Room ciezano council, the Municipal Environment Council made it clear that will meet in ordinary session each quarter, but may also do so in extraordinary session if convened by the President, who is the head of the Department of Environment, or at the request of a third of its members.
