The municipal government carries full negotiation on the delegation of regional powers in municipalities (27/10/2015)

The local executive Cieza proposed in the November full regular urge the Government of the Autonomous Community of Murcia to negotiate with the Federation of Municipalities of the Region the delegation of powers provided for in Article 27.3 of Law 27/2013, determining the scope , content, conditions, durability, control, and the personal, material and financial means.

According to municipal sources explain, "since the democratic transition in our region, municipalities have taken on tasks and responsibilities which are not within its competence, in some cases by delegation of the Autonomous Community of Murcia and in other to meet demand for its neighbors and residents, do not forget that the city is the closest government ".

They add that "with the passage of time, this situation, given the insufficient or even no funding from the competent authorities, has created an unsustainable economic dependence for most of consistories, which was aggravated with the first symptoms economic crisis".

This forced the Government of Spain to take measures, among others, launching a Supplier Payment Fund, so that these could transform their business financial debt.

Also he explained that the Government of Spain approved Law 27/2013 of 27 December, rationalization and sustainability of the local administration.
