On the occasion of the resignation as Councilman IU in the City of Cieza José Eduardo Illueca, WE-Cieza wishes to state that José Eduardo has been a great partner in the current government and a worthy representative of the people during his time as a councilor;
before and Councillor in opposition, and in these few months as part of the municipal government.
During that time Illueca drafted and defended a number of motions aimed always to improve socially, politically and economically to the part of citizens who are most in need, although inevitably before he ran into the wall of an absolute majority of the PP did not admit it most of its proposals and represented another political force with a very different to those of Jose Eduardo, both the forms and substance ideals.
In recent times, part of the government team, was the protagonist in the submission and approval at the last plenary session of the Project Citizen Participation, in which we can took part and helped to improve, and we are confident it will serve as role model in many other Spanish cities.
Jose Eduardo, after much work and long meetings with individuals and groups in the municipality, exercising transparency, honesty and participation, has made an exciting project that we all must honor.
Since we-Cieza we have always valued him and his conciliatory spirit of dialogue and expertise.
In all, now officially it resigns as councilman of IU (he says) "personal reasons", respect his decision and declare that we lose a partner in municipal work but hope to maintain something very important to us, their friendship.
