Cerdá notes that "The Region of Murcia is the first peach-producing area of Spain" (13/06/2009)

The Minister of Agriculture and Water, Antonio Cerdá, said yesterday that "the Region of Murcia is the first peach-producing area of Spain, Cieza their capital, since this municipality is 40 percent of regional production, with more 100,000 tonnes.
