Cayetano was born in Cieza Puche Toledo in 1945 and died in the same city in 1998.

At fifteen he got his first prize for painting and eighteen solo exhibitions began showing his work for the good of the country.

Big fan of poetry, founded and chaired the Cultural Association "The People and Art" that created the international award "Luis Santamarina.

This hobby led him to illustrate several books of poets Aurelio Guirao, Eduardo López, Antonio Gómez, Angel Almela and Antonio Ortega.

Toledo Lucas José Puche the artist said: "He was versatile, diverse, flexible to the landscape, puzzling at the figure by drawing, wise, safe and strong.

He wore his immense heart over the shirt, so his work is passionate, rhythmic, bright.

He could have scratched a few strokes and deep, mysterious and magical that contains the landscape, is that so hard to penetrate the secrets of it. "

The historian and art critic Pedro Alberto Cruz Fernández says: "The figure, still life, interiors, if not enough to overshadow the landscape, take naturalized in his work and exhibitions.

Even the urban, the houses, the antithesis of nature, the housing is privately built space for isolation of human nature and their fellows, appear as a reinterpretation of what we might call "the human landscape," not humanized landscape, which emphasizes, in a year in advance of its silent nature, hide-and-control windows act as many eyes looking without being penetrated, "the atmosphere, somewhat melancholy, which distinguish it from nature, although it has been committed. "

Aurelio Guirao, inspired by the work of Cayetano, wrote the following poem:

Secanos del Sureste,

Campos de Cartagena.

La sed sobre los ojos

de quien, lento, los mira.

Pero cabe el prodigio:

Sacarlos de la hondura

de un alma rebosante de jugo abalanzado,

de redentoras líneas y de pastas fundiéndose.

Rosas, grosor caliente, carne etérea.

Grises para tocar lomos de aire.

Azules coagulados, espesores

de un más allá en el tacto.

Montes de Cartagena,

Solanas del Sureste,

renegridas.

Violeta inmediatez impenetrable

con su perfume abierto a tangibles trasmundos.

Un sobrio discendir

-a veces, a escapadas desbordado-

poda, equilibra, ordena,

inventa la mirada

nuestro paso resume
